The "assemble your own astromech droid" (R2-D2 style) experience is new for the 2012 Star Wars Weekends, but it's open now even before those Weekends start.





It's located at Tattoine Traders, the shop at the exit to Star Tours.


You choose a head, a body, three legs, and ears (or hat).



We couldn't figure out how new it is. The Cast Member we asked spoke poor English and seemed to think we meant how long it would stay there. One guest behind us thought it wasn't there two days ago.

It costs $11.95 to make one droid, or $18.95 for two.



Your purchase comes with a special clamshell container.
